Music |
J.S. Bach is my first love, but I try to have a wide range of music tastes.
Current big ones right now are: Phillip Glass, Ethel Cain, Vaneglis, Lana Del Rey,
Kap Bambino, Kim Petras, Utah Phillips, Cocteau Twins, Charli XCX, Cryalot, YMO,
Death in June, REM, New Order, The Smiths, Morrissey, Kilo Kish, Grimes, Mitski,
t.A.T.u, HEALTH and other IDM, North Korean music, Petros Tabouris (reconstructed Ancient Greek music).
Would say that I have a genuinely diverse taste in music and am always willing to try something new.
Also have an extremely soft spot for early 20th century British Classical Folk Revival like
Ralph Vaughan Williams, Peter Warlock, Gustav Holst, Benjamin Britten, and Percy Grainger among others |
Books |
I have pretty RS taste in books. Currently working my way through Sexual Personae,
Culture of Narcissism, and an Italo Calvino. Favorites: Walden, Notes from Underground,
Sand County Almanac, old science fiction like Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle, Tolstoy,
Kurt Vonnegut, Simone de Beauvoir, Dostoevsky.
Besides this I read a lot of radical literature by people like: Baudrillard, Kaczynski,
Nietzsche, Costin Alamariu, Deleuze, Curtis Yarvin, etc. I'm extremely skeptical of modernity
and technology and come by that honestly. |
Film/TV |
Taste in films: I prefer long atmospheric movies with incredible cinematography and some
sort of anthropological angle. Chief examples: Baraka, Koyaanisqatsi, New World, Apocalypse Now,
Man with a Movie Camera, Megalopolis. Really like Ron Fricke, Terrence Mallick, and Roger Deacons
Favorite Films: Under The Silver Lake, Neon Demon, Strange Days, early Ridley Scott, American Psycho,
Nightcrawler, anything by John Carpenter, Le Bete, anything by David Lynch, anything shot by Roger Deakins.
Slowly making my way through the Side and Sound lists.
My comfort Kino is watching both of the new Dune movies in a single setting and doing like interactive
things like eating cinnamon and imbibing cannabis at any mention of the word spice. It's the most authentic
way of experiencing it. I also love to do perfume and food/drink matches for movies to get other senses involved. |
Interests/hobbies |
I design camouflage patterns and have even had a few physical prototypes made from them.
I play the clarinet and the French horn, and spent 18 years in choir. Not like a professional musician
or even particularly talented at it, but did play a concert with the Marine Corp band one time.
Love to spend time outside on long walks, hikes, and bike rides. Used to run marathons, but had to
stop after a joint injury. |

I'm a very particular person and will be the first to admit it. I have the misfortune of being a genuinely
unique person due to my background of growing up in a doomsday cult (extremist Lutherans) and being trans.
I am not where I would like to be in life due to my background (got kicked out at 24 for being ""spiritually insufficient""
with no assets or outside contacts and COVID started two weeks later) but have been steadily making progress towards my goals.
It's actually supremely funny to get kicked out of a doomsday cult at the very moment that the social fabric of America started collapsing.
Radical people really like me and I've been personally invited to join multiple militia groups and survivalist compounds.
I'm supposed to graduate from University next year as the first person in my family to do so.
Philosophy Major (focus on political philosophy), Classical Studies Minor (with a focus on Ancient Greek language).
Started at Community College and am a proud product of that system. Go Cathedral Foxes!
Not sure what career I'm going into next, but definitely want to have some impact on politics.
I also organize the local RS meetup group and do my best to build community here in Radlib-Ground-Zero.
Critical support to our struggle against the ongoing Portlandization and Torontification of Minneapolis.
Politically, I would say that I am a ""conservative leftist"". I have a pretty unique perspective because
I grew up on a commune, so collectivism is conservative to me. Heavily relate to like post DDR East German
politicians like Sarah Wagenknecht or Alice Weidel. I also really like Nixon, T.R. Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln,
John Brown, the Radical Republicans, Pieter Omtzigt, the Grangist movement, Mao, Henry Wallace, Thomas Jefferson,
William Jennings Bryan, William F. Buckley Jr., the IWW and so on. I used to be very PatSoc, but have become increasingly
skeptical of Marxist based leftism, and generally define myself as more of a populist than leftist now
I'm bisexual but tend to have a very low libido and am not a very sexual person. I am skeptical that authentic
sexuality can exist in a world where it is increasingly commodified and used as a means of social control.
Very skeptical of casual sex and the sexual revolution.
My friends say that I am shockingly well adjusted and deeply lovable.
I am a wordcel and can fill up this entire page with takes, but generally my life goals are to eventually
get a house and have biological kids. |
