| Music | Indie, alt rock, folk, classical, and parody songs are my favourite genres. Also latin and swing dance music. But I enjoy all genres of music. Enjoy the musicals Hamilton and Phantom of the Opera, among many others, and also like opera. |
| Books | Used to read masses of fiction, now it’s mostly non-fiction. I’m interested in writings of philosophy, ancient writings (of histories, poems, or otherwise), and theories. Also always interested in reading books about skills I’m hoping to learn! I like to read various texts on spirituality, different religions, and personal development where possible.
Historical fiction has been a great go-to genre, with a preference to Roman times (but interested in all), mainly Simon Scarrow and Conn Iggulden. |
| Film/TV | Psychological, dark, or slightly weird movies are my favourite. Silence of the Lambs, Killing of a Sacred Deer, The Lobster, Se7en, Brazil, and The Day After. Sometimes I watch anime, such as Tokyo Ghoul, Psycho-pass, Code Geass, Monster, and Death Note.
For sweeter movies / series, I like Howl’s Moving Castle, and Pride and Prejudice (BBC series). |
| Interests/hobbies | I’m interested in almost everything! Delving the deeper, the better. I’m always picking up new hobbies, wanting to learn about new topics, and thinking of ideas to implement. I’m not particularly good at any skill, but I’ve tried a little of everything.
Some long-term interests include coding, cybersecurity, anything technology / computer science related, maths, physics, philosophy, psychology. Problem solving is incredibly fun. I also play the piano and am learning the guitar. I enjoy drawing, and love to photograph abandoned places. I’ve been learning bushcraft and primitive skills, such as leather making, foraging, basket weaving, crochet, firemaking, etc… and enjoy wild camping. I like to backpack, I love to see unusual places and try new food, and spontaneous trips where you figure it out as you go, are the best! Definitely slept in a few train stations or on the street before. For sports, I prefer individual sports with some adrenaline, including ice skating, roller skating, rock climbing, mountain biking, horse riding. Also enjoy partnered dancing, such as salsa or swing dance. I love cottagecore, goblincore, fairycore aesthetics for decorations. I also enjoy many different styles of dress, currently 1940s/1950s vintage style, but cottagecore is so sweet too, and I definitely have some pretty different clothing styles in my wardrobe also. |

I’m a little fidgety sometimes, hence learning speed cubing (for solving Rubik’s cube) and pen spinning, handy when you have to sit for long periods of time! I’m not particularly hyper though and know how to relax when that’s the purpose, no worries there. Personal development and growth is important to me, I’m always looking to improve my knowdlge, hobby skills, work skills, and appearance. However I want to focus mostly on developing my personality - feel free to offer suggestions, I won’t be offended, only grateful! Have a lovely day, if you read this far, I’m impressed.
